Ho’oponopono

-- Andy Grant, January 29, 2012

This is one of the simplest, easiest tools for giving yourself or another person love and forgiveness. Four short phrases that you can use in limitless ways such as a mantra, prayer, journaling, affirmation, sing it...
There are many versions of Ho'oponopono songs out there, this beat box version is my favorite -  http://youtu.be/a7BScD7xgsI
You can find it on iTunes too - search for The Ho'oponopono Song.

If this is brand new to you, open your mind and be willing to try it.

I Love You, I'm Sorry, Please Forgive Me, Thank You

Enjoy!

Jumping For Joy

-- Andy Grant, January 16, 2012

Here is a great and simple tool for boosting your mood and energy - a rebounder. I got a second hand one a couple of years ago from a yard sale to make sure I'd use it. After I used it so much the fabric began to tear I bought a new one and I use it almost daily. This is the brand I went with and its been great - Urban Rebounder Folding Trampoline Workout System

Be willing to try something ridiculous every day. Jump, bounce, yell and make goofy faces. There is so much freedom, joy and fun to be found when you let go of what others (or even yourself) might say.

Enjoy!

Everyone’s Human

Time for me to come clean about why I haven't made a video in three months. I've learned that I don't have to be perfect in order to help, teach and serve others. I'm human just like you. I'll always have doubts and insecurities to face because the only constant in life is change. I'm not a fraud because I still may struggle at times. In fact, I'd be a huge fraud if I claimed to never struggle.

Totally Awesome To Be Alive Day!

I'm back home after an amazing week in Boulder, Co for a live Everything is Energy Event, Graduation for my year-long energy coaching program and a three-day leadership event for speakers and group leaders.  I haven't mentioned those things on this site and I no longer see any reason for separating it, so if you want to read about those events check out my personal site at www.AFGrant.com, if you want info on my Energy Coaching, visit www.NavitasCoach.com
Regardless of all that - I've been feeling so awesome today that I declared it to be Totally Awesome To Be Alive Day!

Cries For Help

-- Andy Grant, July 31, 2011

Some random thoughts on the fact that so many people seem comfortable ignoring or making light of suicide attempts by calling them merely cries for help.

Records and labels and diagnoses, oh my!

--  Andy Grant, June 6, 2011

As a survivor of multiple suicide attempts I've left quite a trail of hospital records in my wake; records spanning three states actually.  One of the first steps to working on my book, Surviving Myself, was to get copies of those records.  Laws varied from state to state and one hospital I visited went out of business (is that a sign that they helped everyone or no one?) but I managed to get a nice pile of paperwork.  Reading it however proved more difficult.
